Anyone can learn something from this story. It teaches amazing life lessons like how "the world is not a wish granting factory." This story is just  plain amazing!

Thirteen Reasons Why by J. Asher- review by Amber

Jay Asher amazingly enhances bullying and takes it to the next level by showing the extremes it can cause a person to go to. Asher isn't afraid to step out of his comfort zone and harness the true problems of today's society. A wonderful thing about this book is that it isn't slow! He doesn't beat around the bush and it seems that by doing that this story was a hit right off the bat. This book is the suicide story of a girl named Hannah, and it is devastatingly beautiful from beginning to end. This story should be read by everyone across the country!

Divergent book review - Amber

This book is by far the best destopian novel I have ever read! This book is a never ending roller coaster! I never know what is going to happen next... it is one of the best books I have ever read!

movie compare and contrast:

Although i idi enjoy the movie a lot it kindof irritatd me. They left out so much detail it was kind of rediculous! They lef out about every other scene from the book! I thought the actors playes the characers absolutely perfect... I just wish the script was written a little beter.

My Life Next Door - Amber

This is going to be a really short review because this story is light reading, so it is very simple and if I say more than a couple of sentences it will give the whole plot away. This story is basically about how the main character Samantha falls in love with her next door neighbor, Jase. It is somewhat of a forbidden love since her mother, a senator, doesn't approve of the Garrets. The Garrets are their next door neighbors who have a very loud and crazy family.

The Hunger Games- Amber

Since most of you have already either seen the movie or read the book this is going to be short! The Hunger Games movie portrayed this book very well, but for those of you who haven't yet read the book it was probably somewhat confusing. For example, many people think that Panem is actually some other fantasy world. This is about half true since it is fantasy, but it is not true because it isn't a whole other world. Books like that are called destopian novels. The Hunger Games is actually meant to take place in the future. Panem was said to be the remains of north America after a huge war. if you haven't read the books I strongly recommend that you do because... 1) it is more detailed and you can understand what Katniss (the main character) is actually thinking, and 2) if you don't read them you will be very confused while watching catching fire, and EXTREMELY confused when watching Mocking Jay part 1 and 2 because a lot of what happens in these books occurs in Katniss' head.

When God Whispers Your Name- Frank & Amber

We would like to recommend this book to all of you even if you are not religious. If you are not religious it is a wonderful book to read. This book shows how to have fun in moderation. It portrays a point of view that was not shown in the bible. It shows that even though god didn't want us doing bad things, it doesn't mean that he didn't want us to enjoy our lives. For example, it teaches you things like... It's okay to drink as long as you don't get completely drunk. you can buy this book on line or in stores, so everybody should go and check it out.
